Beautiful Swarovski crystals are everywhere. So brilliant in appearance, they are the perfect adornment for luxury lingerie, designer sandals, leather handbags, and fashionable eyeglasses. But one designer has gone a step further with designer eyewear and actually won second place in a Swarovski crystal competition for his crystal embedded contact lenses.
Sponsored by designboom and Swarovski, the contest winners’ names and products were published earlier this month with “Sparkle”, by Anthony Mallier of India, taking second prize. This is a wonderfully, inventive creation with Swarovski crystals fused into the outer edge of contact lenses. The crystals radiate beauty and charm giving the eyes a sparkling luster. Because the designer feels that the eyes are the most expressive part of the body and have a message to convey, he felt it more appropriate to bring dazzle to the eyes. Coupled with Swarovski’s magnificent qualities and well sought after appeal, it was a perfect match to pair the crystals with contact lenses.
Winning such a top position in the “Crystal Vision” themed contest is quite prestigious as Anthony was chosen from close to forty-one hundred entries from over ninety countries. In fact, it was so difficult to choose winners that the announcement was delayed in order to adequately review all the deserving entries. Two of the requirements were the ability to package the products and to sell them as over-the-counter items when they are placed in the new SWAROVSKI concept store. Second place prize was Euro 3000 (roughly $4300 US).
hmmm.. This morning I hear this song.. and I love it.. it's so calm and the lyric reminds me that He'll never leave me.. and always give the best for my life ^^
Indah Pada Waktunya
Ada Waktu 'Tuk Berduka Ada Waktu 'Tuk Bersuka Ada Waktu 'Tuk Berdiam Ada Waktu 'Tuk Berkata
Namun Di Atas S'galanya Ku Tahu Allahku Bekerja Mendatangkan Kebaikan Bagi Yang Mengasihi-Nya
Di Saat Yang Ku Alami Tak S'perti Yang Kuingini Di Saat Tiada Jawaban Mengapa Harus Terjadi
Namun Di Atas S'galanya Ku Tahu Allahku Bekerja Mendatangkan Kebaikan Bagi Yang Mengasihi-Nya
Mungkin Tak Kupahami Apa Yang Kini Aku Alami Namun Ku Tahu Pasti Kasih Allahku Tak Kan Berhenti
Kan Kus'rahkan Semua Pergumulanku Pada-Mu Yesus Kar'na Ku Tahu Pasti Semuanya 'Kan Jadi Indah Pada Waktunya
This is interesting idea.. to build an gym in New York above the sea.. hmmm.. Human-Powered Gymnasium that dances on the waves and is powered by your sweat and your abs-crunching and muscle flexing energy- that is pretty much the concept that is going to drive this gym on waves. Designed with both amazing style and plenty of imagination, this futuristic gym might be our first step to one day shifting our lives from land to water and doing that completely. One can only imagine the kind of creative input that was needed to come up with this startling concept and ‘water world’ might not be that far away now.
By continuing to provide vital health amenities, the River Gym can leave the realm of the glass box and become a useful multi-planar kinetic space. Envision your gym becoming a machine of human propulsion that helps purify water, provide spectacular views, and transport less-motivated citizens. Moreover the latest gym does not just have a television set to stare at or the same old boring music in loop.
The floating gym actually gives you an ever changing view of the tranquil waves and nature’s beautiful panorama. That surely should push more people to hit the gym. Transforming loads of energy that is being wasted since decades in a gym for something meaningful is indeed a wonderful new idea presented by Mitchell Joachim & Douglas Joachim. ^^
Few days ago, I saw this cute phone straps in kaskus.. and I just wondering what is Kesaran Pasaran? It says.. Kesaran Pasaran is a Mysterious Fluffy Thing of a white fairy or angel's feather that can bring you good luck.. hmmm...
so, in this saturday duty.. I do search about this thing huehehehe... (btw, why.. this room is so cold? brrrr..)
And this is information 'bout it that I got from wiki.. hohoho...
Although it appears at first like a small white fuzzball, Kesaran Pasaran is an extremely useful and lucky yōkai to whomever encounters it. Unknown in its origin (though one legend suggests it as a gift from angels), Kesaran Pasaran is notable for bringing good luck and happiness to anyone who encounters it. More intriguingly, the amount of the small fuzzballs can quickly multiply if kept within the vicinity of face powder for a period of time: the more Kesaran Pasaran, the more good luck! The yōkai is initially encountered by Miki during a Christmas party, who initially uses its luck abilities and its multiplication trick to grant all her desires, but ultimately ends up saving her friends and giving a happy holiday to the entire town in the process. Later on, the Kesaran Pasaran are revealed to be the "yōkai of ultimate good", saving both the town of Dōmori, and ultimately the world, from the unleashed power of the ultimate evil yōkai: Yamato no Orochi!
